An unforgettable celebration of military tradition and community spirit is coming to the Coffs City Centre on Sunday 17th August, as 725 Squadron of the Royal Australian Navy returns to exercise its Freedom of Entry. This historic parade – the first since 2019 – is a rare spectacle not to be missed. Originating from medieval times, Freedom of Entry recognises the close relationship between a military unit and its host city.
Where & When:
The parade kicks off at 10.30am from the western end of Harbour Drive, marches past City Square (where a ceremonial police challenge will occur), then continues to Earl Street and on to Brelsford Park, where the community celebration continues.
